Pray
The work that we do at Casa Hogar can be very tiring, both physically and mentally. We rely on the prayers of our supporters to keep us going strong. Please keep us in your prayers. It is only through the many gifts that God has blessed us with that we are here and we ask you to please help us to keep going strong. Our founder Fr. Joe was a very holy man. It was only through his complete reliance and confidence in God that he was able to achieve so many accomplishments during his life, including founding Casa Hogar. Please join us in thanking God for all He has provided for Casa Hogar and asking Him to continue to watch over us and our work.
We are honored to receive prayer requests from many people throughout the United States and abroad. Our children take seriously this ministry by giving back to the people that give them so much everyday. We would like to pray for the needs of your family and friends, always asking for the intercession of Servant of God, Father Joseph Walijewski. Submit prayer requests here.
Father Joe Walijewski Canonization Prayer (1924-2006)
Holy and Good God, your servant and priest, Father Joseph Walijewski, through priestly zeal and heroic holiness, defended innocence against the sadness of evil, especially to broken families and helpless children.
Imaging the Compassionate Christ, he led others to the font of sacramental life and the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their True and Only Savior.
Heavenly Father, we humbly pray You to raise up Your servant, Father Joseph Walijewski, whose joyful priestly heart was resolute in the Heart of Christ Jesus, to the courts of heaven; and, through Your Holy Spirit, who guides and leads the Church, give him to us as a saint and hero of this generation.
Through his example may there be a new urgency of souls for Christ. Through his intercession, I humbly ask (make your intention here) through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Parish Involvement
There are many ways that your parish can assist Casa Hogar. Many parishes have joined our Sponsorship Program and other parish committees have held events and assisted us in fundraising for Casa Hogar. If you are interested in helping your parish get more involved, please contact us at: nfurger@frjoesguild.org. Casa Hogar is always looking for parishes to host events and information sessions. Contact us for more information, we would love to hear your ideas!
Casa Hogar is run solely on donations and we need you to join our team to help provide our children with the family, faith and future that they all need.
First and foremost we ask you to please keep Casa Hogar in your prayers. At mass with the children we pray for our friends and benefactors and we ask that you all please remember us in your prayers as well.
There are 72 children who call Casa Hogar home which means lots of kids to take care of, love, feed, help with schoolwork and everything else that goes into raising children. As you can imagine, raising 72 children is not an easy endeavor nor is it cheap!
There are many great organizations in the world that need financial help but we do hope that your class or parish will consider supporting the work of Casa Hogar. As we operate completely on donations, every dollar counts.
If you are interested in having a guest speaker come to talk about Casa Hogar at any fundraising event or at your parish, please contact Noel Furger, Director of Development for the Father Joseph Walijewski Legacy Guild benefitting Casa Hogar Juan Pablo II.
